Guest Houses / Bed & Breakfast

Janet and John extend a warm welcome to Porcupine Ridge Guest House, tucked away in the mountains at the heart of the scenic Panorama Route yet only 5km from the amenities of Sabie village and 1km off the main Sabie - Hazyview road.

Perched above an old gold mine and part of the original mining village, this stylish retreat combines old world charm with modern comforts. The friendly ambiance invites you to relax and unwind, free to do as much or as little as you like, surrounded by rambling gardens, abundant birdlife, glorious mountain views and the Sabie River valley below. There are lovely walks on the estate, through indigenous bush, grasslands and plantations, where a variety of small game may be seen. Birding is excellent with a current list of 134 species. A spectacular waterfall with a deep pool for swimming is a special delight, or return after your busy day to the tranquility of Porcupine Ridge for a relaxing sundowner on the terrace.
